HORIZONTAL

DIRECTIONAL DRILLINg is newtown square's best method for sewer tie-in installations

RADIO CONTROLLED, ACCURATELY POSITIONED

HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING BETTER THAN TRADITIONAL TRENCHING

DB radio controlled, Horizontal Directional Drilling technology is an efficient, cost-effective process to get underground pipes for Newtown Square'sgravity sewer and sewer grinder pump installations from one point to another without destroying the existing ground, roadways, landscaping or obstacles that are in between.

Horizontal Directional Drilling is a minimal impact trenchless method using a relatively shallow arc. Horizontal Directional Drilling is generally accomplished in three principle phases. First, a small diameter pilot hole is drilled along a directional path from one surface point to another. Next, the bore created during pilot hole drilling is enlarged to a 4" diameter that will facilitate installation of a pipeline. Lastly, the pipeline is pulled into the enlarge hole, thus creating a continuous segment of pipe underground and exposed only at the two initial end points.

Trenching is disruptive to your property and adds risk of damaging your trees and shrubbery.

Trenching is intrusive and disrupts your lawn. Most tree roots are within the upper 6”-16“of top soil. This disruption damages the necessary roots.

Trenching won’t reveal this damage at first, but when the roots are damaged, then over time, the results will show up on those areas of the trees and plants. It may take years before the plants and property will recover.
